Trowel-trade bricklayer • Owan East, Edo

Vacancy available: we are hiring a trowel-trade bricklayer in Owan East, Edo. The job is on a commercial construction site. The role involves forming arches, piers and reveals around openings; erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts; bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters; checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod; building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation; building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses. Requirements: • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding • Reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
