Join our team: we are hiring a panel painter in Hamilton County, New York. The job is at a busy body shop. Your main tasks: • Wet-sand and buff out runs, orange peel and dust nibs • Mix and tint paint to match the customer's colour code • Mask off trim, glass and rubber seals with tape and paper • Mix two-pack (2K) clear coat with hardener in the correct ratio • Compound and polish the cured finish to a high gloss • Strip clean the spray guns and change the booth filters You should have: • 2+ years' experience in automotive refinishing • Able to mix paint by weight on a scale • Comfortable working in a spray booth with full PPE Six days a week, one day off.
