Great opportunity: pressman (Mississippi)

Now hiring: we are hiring a pressman in Lauderdale County, Mississippi. You will be based in a garment export house. The role involves give each garment a final press before packing; shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board; keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure; use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics; set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics. Ideal candidate: • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment Part-time with flexible hours.
