Quality assurance assistant — Hanover County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a quality assurance assistant in Hanover County, Virginia. The job is at a food processing unit. Requirements: • Confident using vernier callipers, micrometers and gauges • Understanding of AQL sampling and tolerance limits • Able to stand for full shifts on the production floor The role involves raise non-conformance reports and tag rejected batches; measure finished parts with vernier callipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges; record measurements on inspection sheets and SPC charts; log batch numbers, lot codes and traceability data; check packaging, labelling and barcode accuracy before dispatch; verify dimensions against the tolerance limits on the technical drawing. Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. $4,400 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Full-time with occasional weekends.
