Gtaw welder wanted in Butte County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a gtaw welder in Butte County, South Dakota. The job is on an industrial construction site. Day-to-day duties: • Set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal • Read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters • Inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion • Strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode • Carry out 6G pipe welds where required What we are looking for: • Own basic hand tools and PPE • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day Pay around $4,500 per month, based on your experience.
