We are recruiting: we are hiring a machinist in Upshur County, Texas. You will work in a sampling and tailoring workshop. On the job you will handle: • Change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation • Stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance • Thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension • Meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality • Topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish • Operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line You should have: • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines Full-time, day shift.
