Cement mason — Newry Mourne and Down

Immediate opening: we are hiring a cement mason in Newry Mourne and Down, Northern Ireland. You will be based on a road and bridge project. Day to day you will compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing; load, hoist and barrow concrete to the upper floors; mix concrete to the specified grade (M15, M20, M25) by hand or in a mixer; cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days; erect and align timber and steel shuttering before each pour; cut control and expansion joints at the correct spacing. Requirements: • 2+ years on RCC and concreting works • ITI in masonry or civil work an added advantage On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
