Structural MIG welder — Crawford County

Now hiring: we are hiring a structural MIG welder in Crawford County, Wisconsin. The job is in a sheet-metal fabrication unit. On the job you will handle: • Maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose • Lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints • Strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc • Change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch • Set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator • Bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding Requirements: • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently Full-time with occasional weekends. Meals and transport allowance provided. Walk-in interviews this week.
