Immediate opening: we are hiring a press operator in Harnett County, North Carolina. Day to day you will adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings; apply die lubricant and keep the tooling clean; run the press using two-hand controls and foot pedal safely; fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting; feed blanks into the die and remove formed parts. Requirements: • Physically fit to stand a full shift and lift blanks up to 20 kg • Attention to detail and steady hands for accurate loading • Can use vernier calipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
