Join our team: single needle operator (Akwa Ibom State)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a single needle operator in Nsit Ibom, Akwa Ibom State. You will be based in a small denim manufacturing unit. Your main tasks: • Meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality • Change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation • Keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line • Thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension • Match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching • Inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes Ideal candidate: • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown • Knows how to set tension, change needles and do basic machine maintenance • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
