Hoist operator • Alger County, Michigan

Now hiring: we are hiring a hoist operator in Alger County, Michigan. Day-to-day duties: • Park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift • Set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground • Fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure • Climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins • Fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports Ideal candidate: • A good head for heights for tower crane work • Proven experience on mobile, tower or overhead cranes • Understanding of hand and radio signals Six days a week, one day off.
