Commercial refrigeration engineer • Berkeley County, South Carolina

Immediate opening: we are hiring a commercial refrigeration engineer in Berkeley County, South Carolina. The role involves wire up thermostats, contactors and overload relays; trace electrical circuits with a multimeter; check oil level and top up or change the compressor oil; read suction and discharge pressures on the manifold gauges; charge systems with refrigerant (R134a, R410a, R404a) to the correct weight; braze copper pipework and joints with an oxy-acetylene torch. What we are looking for: • Able to read wiring diagrams and pressure-temperature charts • Comfortable handling refrigerant gases and gauge manifolds • Available on-call and at weekends for breakdowns 5+ years on the tools preferred.
