Vacancy available: shuttering fixer (North Carolina)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a shuttering fixer in Avery County, North Carolina. You will be based at a reinforced concrete building site. You should have: • Skilled with circular saw, hand tools and spirit level • Hands-on with timber, plywood and system formwork • Able to keep pace with tight pour schedules On the job you will handle: • Read formwork drawings and setting-out marks to position the shutters • Apply mould-release oil to the plywood faces before concreting • Fix stop ends and kickers at the construction joints • Box out openings for doors, windows and service penetrations • Cut and assemble plywood and timber panels for columns, beams and slabs • Check alignment with spirit level, plumb bob and string line 1+ years on the tools preferred.
