Join our team: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Rosebud County, Montana. The job is at a pipe and tank fabrication yard. What we are looking for: • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings • Willing to work shifts and overtime • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances Day-to-day duties: • Set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness • Set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator • Read fabrication drawings and weld symbols • Strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc • Check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration Full-time with occasional weekends.
