We are recruiting: aluminium TIG welder (Oyo State)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring an aluminium TIG welder in Itesiwaju, Oyo State. The job is at a busy fabrication workshop. The role involves read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing; select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel; clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush; tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run; sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size; strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal. Requirements: • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding 2+ years on the tools preferred.
