What we are looking for: • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness Day to day you will secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists; read lift plans and method statements before starting; coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller; calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift.
