Join our team: we are hiring a presser in Brown County, Indiana. The job is at a textile finishing unit. You should have: • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets On the job you will handle: • Spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts • Give each garment a final press before packing • Fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press • Remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron • Meet the daily piece target without damaging garments • Clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
