Immediate opening: pipe tig welder (Kentucky)

Now hiring: we are hiring a pipe tig welder in Caldwell County, Kentucky. You will work at a precision engineering workshop. Ideal candidate: • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day • Own basic hand tools and PPE Your main tasks: • Clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding • Run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints • Grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper • Weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges • Strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode We offer $3,200 per month plus benefits. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
