Vacancy available: we are hiring a MIG/MAG welder in Clarke County, Alabama. On a typical shift you will read fabrication drawings and weld symbols; set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness; weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions; control distortion with a balanced welding sequence. Requirements: • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes Rotating shifts.
