Now hiring: we are hiring a tig welder in Wheeler County, Nebraska. Requirements: • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight Day to day you will grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper; clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding; run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints; prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run. Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. Pay around $2,900 per month, based on your experience. Meals and transport allowance provided. Six days a week, one day off.
