HVAC-R technician • McLean County, Illinois

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a HVAC-R technician in McLean County, Illinois. You will work at a food processing plant. Your main tasks: • Recover refrigerant gas before opening a sealed system • Install and commission cold rooms, walk-in freezers and display cabinets • Pull a vacuum on the system and check for trapped moisture • Check superheat and subcooling and trim the charge • Charge systems with refrigerant (R134a, R410a, R404a) to the correct weight • Braze copper pipework and joints with an oxy-acetylene torch Requirements: • Available on-call and at weekends for breakdowns • 2+ years hands-on experience in refrigeration and AC Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. Full-time with occasional weekends. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. We offer $4,900 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
