Immediate opening: we are hiring a MIG/MAG welder in Baxter County, Arkansas. The job is at a pipe and tank fabrication yard. The role involves lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints; set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness; load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls; control distortion with a balanced welding sequence; strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc; change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch. What we are looking for: • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
