We are recruiting: lathe operator (New York)

Join our team: we are hiring a lathe operator in Steuben County, New York. You will be based at a busy manufacturing plant. Day to day you will record output, scrap and downtime on the production sheet; measure parts with vernier calliper, micrometer and go/no-go gauges; key in cycle parameters such as speed, feed rate and temperature; report breakdowns to the maintenance fitter; change tooling, dies and moulds during product changeovers; clear jams and remove rejected parts from the line. You should have: • Basic record-keeping and part-counting skills • ITI or diploma in fitter or machinist trade an advantage On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Full-time, day shift.
