Now hiring: we are hiring a production operative in Pike County, Ohio. The job is on a production line. Requirements: • Comfortable using vernier, micrometer and gauges • Good attention to detail and steady hands • Able to stand for long hours on the shop floor The role involves: • Segregate finished parts into bins and label the batches • Record output, scrap and downtime on the production sheet • Follow lockout-tagout before cleaning or clearing the machine • Monitor gauges and stop the machine when readings drift • Set up and start the machine as per the job card • Measure parts with vernier calliper, micrometer and go/no-go gauges Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
