Urgent requirement: we are hiring a reinforcement fitter in Edgefield County, South Carolina. You should have: • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements • Own basic tools such as pliers, tie hook, tape and level The role involves: • Assemble column and beam cages on the bench • Keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust • Lap and splice bars to the specified lap length • Cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
