Urgent requirement: shakeout operator (Mississippi)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a shakeout operator in Lee County, Mississippi. You will be based at an aluminium die-casting plant. What we are looking for: • Basic grinding and fettling skills • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings The role involves pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles; prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes; cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch; skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring; apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity.
