Immediate opening: fabricator-welder (Indiana)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Pulaski County, Indiana. Your main tasks: • Control heat input so thin sheet does not warp • Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions • Back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring) • Grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper • Clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding What we are looking for: • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium • Own basic hand tools and PPE • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings Pay around $220 per day, based on your experience.
