Join our team: we are hiring a safety officer in McIntosh County, North Dakota. The job is in a chemical processing unit. You will record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date; deliver site induction to new workers, subcontractors and visitors; update the risk register and method statements (RAMS); verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates; enforce lockout-tagout (LOTO) on energised and rotating equipment; inspect scaffolding, full-body harnesses and lifelines for work at height. You should have: • Confident enough to halt unsafe work on the spot • Sound knowledge of local OSH and factory act regulations • Physically fit for full-site inspections on foot At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. $2,600 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Meals and transport allowance provided. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
