Paint and prep technician — Southeastern Connecticut Planning Region

Now hiring: we are hiring a paint and prep technician in Southeastern Connecticut Planning Region, Connecticut. On the job you will handle: • Mix two-pack (2K) clear coat with hardener in the correct ratio • Apply primer, base coat and clear coat with an HVLP spray gun • Sand and feather-edge damaged panels before painting • Prime and seal bare metal to stop rust • Mask off trim, glass and rubber seals with tape and paper Requirements: • 2+ years' experience in automotive refinishing • Skilled with HVLP and gravity-feed spray guns • Good eye for colour matching and blending Rotating shifts.
