Great opportunity: we are hiring an escalator technician in Boone County, Iowa. You should have: • Physically fit to lift heavy components and crawl in tight spaces • 2+ years on lift installation and maintenance Day to day you will test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake; fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork; mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators; respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers. Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
