GMAW welder wanted in Stokes County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a GMAW welder in Stokes County, North Carolina. Day to day you will strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc; clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead; read fabrication drawings and weld symbols; weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions; change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings Six days a week, one day off. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Walk-in interviews this week.
