Counterbalance forklift operator — Pittsylvania County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a counterbalance forklift operator in Pittsylvania County, Virginia. You will work in a cold storage facility. Requirements: • Good awareness of load stability and health and safety • Able to read pick lists and operate an RF scanner • Minimum 1-2 years' warehouse forklift experience Day to day you will transport raw materials and finished goods between bays; carry out pre-shift checks on the forks, tyres, mast and hydraulics; sweep and keep the loading bay free of debris; operate counterbalance and reach trucks within the marked aisles; charge the forklift battery or change the LPG cylinder safely; keep gangways clear and observe the site speed limit. We offer $24 per hour plus benefits. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
