What we are looking for: • Food hygiene / HACCP certificate • Quick and accurate on the weighing scales and order maths Your main tasks: • Take customer orders and advise on cuts and cooking • Trim fat, sinew and silver skin off the cuts • Sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone • Monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain • Dress the chilled counter and rotate stock by date • Keep halal cuts separated and clearly handled Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
