Now hiring: we are hiring a tile installer in City of Fairfax, Virginia. You will be based at a bathroom renovation job. You will set out the tile layout and snap reference lines with a chalk line; make curved cuts and holes with an angle grinder and tile drill bits; grout the joints and wipe off the excess with a damp sponge; fit tile spacers to keep the grout joints even; check the falls to floor wastes so the water drains away; set out mosaic sheets and trim them to fit the edges. You should have: • Own a basic set of tiling tools (trowels, spacers, levels) • Able to work to deadlines on busy sites • Physically fit for kneeling, bending and lifting tile boxes 6+ years on the tools preferred. $4,600 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
