Urgent requirement: we are hiring a site safety steward in Union County, Iowa. The job is on a high-rise building project. Ideal candidate: • Confident enough to halt unsafe work on the spot • NEBOSH, IOSH or a recognised OHS certificate • Strong record-keeping and incident-reporting skills You will conduct job hazard analysis (JHA) on every new task; stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action; run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points; audit housekeeping and barricading around excavations and open edges; investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports. At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. Rotating shifts. Meals and transport allowance provided. Walk-in interviews this week.
