Gas pipeline fitter wanted in Tioga County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a gas pipeline fitter in Tioga County, Pennsylvania. You will work on residential and apartment building sites. Day to day you will fit flexible connection hoses and bayonet fittings to the appliances; check every joint for leaks with soapy water and leak-detection spray; locate and repair gas leaks and replace corroded pipe sections; install flue and chimney terminals and check for adequate ventilation; thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant; read isometric drawings and mark out the pipe routes. Ideal candidate: • 2+ years' experience on domestic and commercial gas installations • Clean, methodical and safety-conscious • Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces Pay around $27 per hour, based on your experience.
