Fire and safety officer — Dickson County

What we are looking for: • Strong record-keeping and incident-reporting skills • Sound knowledge of local OSH and factory act regulations The role involves: • Deliver site induction to new workers, subcontractors and visitors • Ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site • Inspect scaffolding, full-body harnesses and lifelines for work at height • Verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates • Take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry • Carry out toolbox talks with the crew before each shift Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
