Immediate opening: we are hiring a gas pipeline fitter in Glenn County, California. Day-to-day duties: • Lay and route steel and copper gas pipe runs to the appliance points • Read isometric drawings and mark out the pipe routes • Check every joint for leaks with soapy water and leak-detection spray • Fit flexible connection hoses and bayonet fittings to the appliances You should have: • Physically fit for lifting pipe, meters and cylinders • Competent in pipe threading, brazing and PE electrofusion 4+ years on the tools preferred.
