Render and set plasterer • Taos County, New Mexico

Immediate opening: we are hiring a render and set plasterer in Taos County, New Mexico. You will work in a refurbishment property. Your main tasks: • Skim plasterboard to a smooth finish ready for decoration • Polish the final coat with a steel trowel and water brush • Patch and repair cracked, blown or hollow plaster • Mix gypsum plaster and cement render to a workable consistency • Apply scratch coats and key the surface for the next coat • Clean trowels, buckets and mixers before the plaster sets What we are looking for: • Reliable timekeeping and a strong work ethic • Own set of trowels, floats, hawk and buckets Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Full-time with occasional weekends. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Pay around $5,000 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
