Immediate opening: we are hiring an aluminium TIG welder in Sheboygan County, Wisconsin. The role involves TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer; set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks; sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size; read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing. What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
