Urgent requirement: we are hiring a press shop operator in Shelby County, Indiana. You will work at a busy press shop. Your main tasks: • Load metal sheets, blanks and coils onto the press bed • Operate mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic power presses • Adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings • Run the press using two-hand controls and foot pedal safely Requirements: • ITI in fitter, machinist or sheet metal trade preferred • Basic understanding of metal grades and thicknesses $27 per hour, negotiable for the right hands. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
