Great opportunity: steel erection rigger (Kentucky)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a steel erection rigger in Lewis County, Kentucky. You will be based at a busy construction site. On the job you will handle: • Calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift • Rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position • Secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists • Tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear Requirements: • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear • Willing to work shifts, weekends and outdoors in all weather • Confident with standard crane hand signals At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
