Sewing machine operator • Dewey County, South Dakota

Join our team: we are hiring a sewing machine operator in Dewey County, South Dakota. You will be based in a small denim manufacturing unit. On a typical shift you will inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes; meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality; clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift; sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required; topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish. You should have: • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown Rotating shifts. Meals and transport allowance provided. Pay around $4,400 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
