We are recruiting: we are hiring a roofing technician in DeSoto County, Mississippi. The job is at a sheet metal roofing workshop. Requirements: • Able to read roof pitch and set the falls • Confident working at height on ladders and scaffolds • A good head for heights and steady balance On the job you will handle: • Nail down asphalt shingles in staggered courses • Replace cracked or slipped tiles and slates • Lay underlayment and tar paper before tiling • Solder and seam standing-seam metal roof sheets • Set out battens to the correct gauge and spacing • Carry out leak inspections and patch repairs Pay around $3,300 per month, based on your experience.
