Great opportunity: we are hiring a PVC window fabricator in Manitowoc County, Wisconsin. You will work at a glazing and fabrication factory. On a typical shift you will install finished windows and doors, pack and anchor-fix them, then foam and silicone the perimeter; fit espagnolette locking gear, friction hinges, handles and keeps to the sash; clean welded corners on a corner-cleaning machine and chisel off the weld flash; fit EPDM gaskets and brush-pile weather seals along the rails; glaze the double-glazed units, set the packers and bed the glass square; check the frame for square by measuring the diagonals. Requirements: • Able to work to deadlines in a busy workshop • Comfortable handling and lifting glazed units safely 4+ years on the tools preferred. $4,700 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
