Immediate opening: we are hiring a formwork joiner in Northumberland County, Virginia. The job is on a residential tower site. Your main tasks: • Seal panel joints and hold the correct concrete cover to prevent grout loss • Brace and strut the formwork to stop movement during the pour • Cut and assemble plywood and timber panels for columns, beams and slabs • Box out openings for doors, windows and service penetrations Ideal candidate: • Able to read formwork and structural drawings • Sound understanding of props, bracing and load-bearing Six days a week, one day off. $5,200 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
