Steel erection rigger — Orange County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a steel erection rigger in Orange County, New York. The role involves read lift plans and method statements before starting; coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller; guide loads through tight openings into their final position; set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads. Requirements: • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams Full-time, day shift. $31 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
