Bar bender and fixer wanted in Pearl River County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a bar bender and fixer in Pearl River County, Mississippi. On a typical shift you will lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors; fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings; set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift; form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions; lap and splice bars to the specified lap length; fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover. What we are looking for: • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Own basic tools such as pliers, tie hook, tape and level • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing 2+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
