We are recruiting: we are hiring a foundry worker in Jefferson County, Indiana. On a typical shift you will tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle; maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings; check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring; carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand. Requirements: • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding • Basic grinding and fettling skills 3+ years on the tools preferred. Meals and transport allowance provided.
