Concrete placer • Columbia County, New York

Immediate opening: we are hiring a concrete placer in Columbia County, New York. The job is in a residential housing project. You should have: • 2+ years on RCC and concreting works • Willing to wear safety boots, helmet and full PPE • Comfortable working at heights and on scaffolds You will fix and tie reinforcement bars and mesh as per the bar bending schedule; patch honeycombs and tie-rod holes with non-shrink grout; mix concrete to the specified grade (M15, M20, M25) by hand or in a mixer; float and trowel surfaces with a bull float and power trowel for a smooth finish; carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab; erect and align timber and steel shuttering before each pour. Full-time with occasional weekends. Performance bonus on top of base pay. $5,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
